Salaams and Ramadan Greetings to you all.
Alhamdulillah, once again we have been blessed with this beautiful month. A month of reflection, a month that plays a huge role in developing and purifying our characters so that we can become sincere servants of God.
It is a time when every believer makes a conscious effort in trying to increase their Taqwa. Mohammad Asad defines Taqwa as : "the awareness of His all-presence and the desire to mould one's existence in the light of this awareness".
I pray we all get the best out of this month and continue to strive to increase our imaan in the following months after Ramadan.
The above painting is an acrylic piece painted on paper. The script is in the Thuluth style and reads Bismillah, "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". May Allah shower His Mercy and Blessings upon us all and may He accept our prayers and forgive our sins Insha-Allah. Aameen.
